Dr. Anne Lipton, a neurologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed by KRLD-AM (1080) for a story about the long-term effects of repeat concussions. Lipton commented on a new study that suggests some patients with what is presumed to be amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig's disease, may actually have an ALS-like brain disease caused by head injuries earlier in life.
