Texas Health Dallas on KRLD-AM

Dr. Anne Lipton, a neurologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed on KRLD-AM (1080). Lipton spoke about a new study in the journal Genome Research. The paper concludes that vitamin D influences more than 200 genes, including ones related to cancer and autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis — a discovery that shows how serious vitamin D deficiency can be.

Denton Business & Community News gave front-page coverage to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton’s community service. Employees raised nearly $6,000 for the local food bank, more than double last year’s total. Coverage included a photo of Stan Morton, Texas Health Denton president, and Rebecca Wilson, director of pharmacy and co-chair of the food drive.
