Texas Health Resources was named for the 10th consecutive year to the InformationWeek 500 List of Top Technology Innovators Across America. Texas Health is the only North Texas company, and the only health care system nationwide, to have achieved this distinction.

Texas Health Resources Employee on KTVT-TV

KTVT-TV (Ch. 11) ran a story on Sept. 15 on the wellness journey of Tonya Moore, senior accountant assistant at Texas Health Resources’ Consolidated Billing Office. Moore has participated in Texas Health’s Weight Watchers At Work program since January. The segment was taped at a CBO Weight Watchers meeting and included interviews with Moore and Carol Mooney, Texas Health wellness manager.

Texas Health Burleson in Fort Worth Business Press

Becky Tucker’s appointment as administrator of Texas Health Harris Methodist Outpatient Center Burleson was covered in the Fort Worth Business Press.

Texas Health Dallas on WFAA-TV

Michelle Pecenka, R.N., FCCS, nurse manager of the MICU and PCU at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed on WFAA-TV (Ch. 8). The live spot aired during the station's Daybreak program. Pecenka took viewers on a quick tour of the third floor of Hamon Tower 3 and spoke about the hard work of nurses there.

Texas Health Fort Worth on KTVT-TV

A Sept. 15 story on KTVT-TV (Ch. 11) discussed the need for pregnant women to be vaccinated this flu season. Dr. Ruth Wiley, an OB/GYN on the medical staff at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, was interviewed.

Texas Health Plano in Lewisville Leader

The Lewisville Leader reported that Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano recently received full Cycle III Chest Pain Center accreditation from the Society of Chest Pain Centers. The article quoted Dr. Mark Peterman, medical director of cardiovascular services on the medical staff at Texas Health Plano, and Robert Burns, the hospital’s director of cardiovascular services.

Texas Health Craig Ranch in Allen American

The opening of Texas Health Craig Ranch, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen’s outpatient center in McKinney, was featured in the Allen American. The article quoted Sheila McKinney, president of Texas Health Allen, Kathy Carreau, the hospital’s Breast Center and Community Health director, DeeAnn Abner, lead technologist at Texas Health Craig Ranch, David Clubb, the hospital’s Rehab Services manager, and Dr. Clyde Sullivan, a cardiologist on the medical staff of Texas Health Allen.
