Harris Methodist Northwest Hospital is featured on the front page of the Azle News in a story about the hospital’s Better L.I.F.E. program. The story features Bob Martin, of Azle, who is an active participant of the Better L.I.F.E. program’s exercise classes, and caught colon cancer through the program’s annual colon screening. Marsha Ingle, the Better L.I.F.E. program coordinator, is also quoted.

Rubin, HMFW on WFAA and KXAS

Andrew Rubin, M.D., emergency medicine physician on the medical staff at Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital was featured Aug. 1 on KXAS-TV (Channel 5) and WFAA-TV (Channel 8) in stories about the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion.

PHD STEMI Time Among Nation's Quickest

A man suffering a heart attack recently arrived at the ER at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and was eventually treated with an angioplasty procedure in the hospital’s cardiac catheterization lab in under 30 minutes. An article about the procedure in the current edition of NurseWeek magazine emphasizes the importance of providing safe, rapid treatment to those suffering heart attacks. Jon Gardner, director of the Heart and Vascular service line at PHD, was quoted in the article.

PHP's Jim Boswell in Inside Collin County Business

Jim Boswell, administrative director of physician services at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, was one of 30 individuals named by Inside Collin County Business to its inaugural "Collin County People of Influence" list. A short article and photo of Boswell were included in a special section in the magazine.
