Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano were featured in a story on the Dallas Business Journal’s website. Employees and volunteers from both hospitals starred in a YouTube video where they cheered on the American League Champion Texas Rangers by doing the team’s trademark “claw” and “antlers.”

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano were featured in stories on KDFW-TV (Ch. 4) and KDAF-TV (Ch. 33). Employees were filmed wearing their Rangers gear for “Texas Rangers Day,” where the normal dress code was relaxed in honor of Game 1 of the World Series. Angie Noel, Texas Health Plano’s administrative director of Human Resources, was interviewed.

A record-breaking 13-pound baby born at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth was featured on KXAS-TV (Ch. 5) and WFAA-TV (Ch. 8). The story was also shown nationally on NBC’s Today Show, msnbc.com, and several NBC affiliates, including Jackson, Mich., Myrtle Beach, S.C., St. Louis and Boston. Vickie Kroon, neonatal nurse practitioner, was interviewed.
