The current edition of The Kaufman Herald included a story about the sponsors for this year’s Black Tie Ball, benefiting Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman. The story includes comments from Patsy Youngs, president of Texas Health Kaufman, and Carl Stapp, hospital board member and chair of the planning committee for this year’s gala.

Dr. Gary Gross, an allergist on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, appeared on KTVT-TV (Ch. 11). The Nov. 9 story looked at people who suffer from non-allergic rhinitis, which causes the same symptoms – sniffling, sneezing, stopped up sinuses – as seasonal allergies.

Dr. Chris Dreiling, a pediatrician on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed Nov. 5 on KRLD-AM (1080). Dreiling talked about a new study that found that obese children have stiff blood vessels and dangerous plaque buildup similar to adults with cardiovascular disease.

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano was featured on the NeighborsGo website. The story featured the recent hiring of Vicki Stoker, R.N., M.S.N., as director of the Seay Behavioral Health Center. Stoker and Dr. Jeffrey Canose, president of Texas Health Plano, were quoted.

An advertorial in Nov. 7 editions of the Star-Telegram highlighted robotic procedures that are advancing patient care, such as the Hansen robotic arm at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital and the da Vinci surgical robot at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth, and Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford. The article quoted both Dr. Bill Nesbitt, electrophysiologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Arlington Memorial, and Dr. Mark Messing, a gynecologic oncology surgeon on the medical staff at Texas Health HEB.
