Texas Health Plano on KDAF-TV
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano was featured on KDAF-TV (Ch. 33). The story focused on a study released by the Centers for Disease Control that showed the number of emergency room visits for children two years old and under dropped by more than half when infant cough medicine was voluntarily removed from the market. Dr. Lawrence Hum, emergency department medical director at Texas Health Plano, and Dr. Angela Mix, a pediatrician on staff at the hospital, were interviewed.
