Texas Health Dallas on Good Morning Texas

Dr. Liesl Smith, an OB-GYN on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed on the Dec. 20 edition of WFAA’s Good Morning Texas program. Dr. Smith spoke about how much vitamin supplementation women need.

Texas Health Fort Worth on Local Newscasts

Amy Kitchens, certified hand therapist at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, was interviewed for a story about a new condition called “mommy thumb.” The story, which originally aired on WFAA-TV (Ch. 8), also appeared on stations in Louisville, Ky., Dayton, Ohio, San Antonio and Houston. Jeanine Andersen, marketing manager at Texas Health Fort Worth and mom of two young kids, also was interviewed.

Texas Health Plano on KDFW-TV

Santa’s visit to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit was featured on KDFW-TV (Ch. 4). Members of the Plano Police Department delivered donated stuffed animals to patients and their families and provided an opportunity for an otherwise impossible family picture with Santa Claus.

Texas Health Southwest Fort Worth in Tarrant County Physician

The December issue of Tarrant County Physician announced that Fraser Hay, FACHE, had been appointed the new administrative director at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth.
