Texas Health Resources’ related acquisitions of MedicalEdge Healthcare Group and PhyServe were reported in area and health care media. The combination of the two entities positions Texas Health closer to where patients live and work and enhances the ability to serve patients throughout the lifetime of their changing medical needs and requirements. The MedicalEdge transaction is believed to be the second-largest of its kind ever in the U.S. Texas Health Resources CEO Doug Hawthorne was quoted.
