Texas Health Resources in Star-Telegram

The Star-Telegram reported Texas Health Resources’ plans to put a portfolio of medical office buildings at Texas Health hospitals into a real estate partnership and offer investments to physicians. The Jan. 13 article quoted Doug Hawthorne, Texas Health CEO, Brian Holmes, senior vice president for facilities and real estate, and Reace Alvarenga-Smith, spokeswoman.

Texas Health Kaufman in The Kaufman Herald

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman was recognized in a recent edition of The Kaufman Herald for high performance in a national quality incentive project, called HQID, by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Texas Health Kaufman was recognized for the treatment of patients with heart failure, acute myocardial infarction, and pneumonia. The hospital was also recognized for quality care of surgical patients. The story included comments from Patsy Youngs, president of Texas Health Kaufman, Dr. Mark Sij, chief quality officer, and Doug Hawthorne, CEO of Texas Health Resources.
