Dr. Craig Purcell, emergency medicine physician on the medical staff at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, and Leslie Stelzer, R.N., emergency room charge nurse at Texas Health Fort Worth, were interviewed by WFAA-TV (Ch. 8) in a story about ice-related injuries.

Texas Health Dallas CNO on WBAP-AM

Cole Edmonson, M.S., R.N., FACHE, NEA-BC, chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed this week on WBAP-AM (820). He talked about the dedication of nurses who spend the night at the hospital during winter storms, so they don’t miss their shifts the next day. This week, dozens of nurses and numerous other caregivers have made Texas Health Dallas their home away from home so they can be here for their patients.

Texas Health Southwest Fort Worth in Fort Worth Business Press

The Fort Worth Business Press this week mentioned that Harold Magee earned the Student Excellence in Clinical Nursing Award from the University of Texas at Arlington’s School of Nursing for the fourth consecutive year. Magee, manager of the nursery and neonatal intensive care unit at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth, will complete his master’s in nursing administration in May.
