Dr. Benjamin Levine, director of the Institute for Exercise and Environmental Medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was featured in a recent Wall Street Journal article about a study he’s conducting to help the U.S. military learn more about the cardiovascular health and conditioning of soldiers in high-altitude environments.

Texas Health Dallas on KXAS-TV

Dr. Frances Crites, an OB-GYN on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was recently interviewed on KXAS-TV (Ch. 5). Crites talked about the safety of hormone replacement therapy for women during and after menopause. The interview was based a recent showing of the movie Hot Flash Havoc, which debunks many of the conclusions of the Women’s Health Initiative. That research initially showed an increase in the risk for heart disease and breast cancer from HRT.
