Texas Health Kaufman in Kaufman Herald
The Kaufman Herald recently included a story about the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman Spring Into Action 5K run and walk. The 5K will kick off the hospital’s new Child Automobile Safety Initiative. The program will educate local parents about the proper use of car safety seats and provide other safety tips when traveling with children. In addition to the educational classes at the Spring Into Action 5K, car seat checkups will be held at the hospital on the fourth Saturday of each month for local parents.
Texas Health Azle, Texas Health Fort Worth and Texas Health Southwest Fort Worth in Azle News
This week's Azle News featured a story about the upcoming show Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle's auxiliary is putting on to raise money for the LINC program, an opportunity for the hospital to support two nurses through nursing school in return for a two year employment commitment from them. Robyn Owens, R.N., manager of nursing for the hospital, was interviewed. She talked about the need for this program in Azle and the success of the LINC program at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth and Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth.
