Texas Health Resources in CIO Magazine

Nanda Lahoud, administrative director for value realization in the Innovative Technology Solutions division of Texas Health Resources, was named one of 25 recipients of CIO magazine’s "Ones to Watch" award for 2011. The award recognizes rising stars in information technology from a variety of industries who bring leadership, innovation and value to their organizations and are primed to become future chief information officers.

Dr. Tony Das, an interventional cardiologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed on KTVT-TV (Ch. 11). He spoke about whether so-called “super foods” can prevent cardiovascular disease.

Texas Health Fort Worth on CBS Affiliate

A story about a Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth high-risk delivery 21 years ago coming full-circle was featured on CBS affiliate WCSC-TV in Charleston, S.C. Baby Faith was born in 1990 with a diaphramatic hernia. She was the first baby in Texas and the third nationally to survive after a complicated surgery and delivery. Baby Faith is now grown and delivered her first baby at Texas Health Fort Worth on Monday. Dr. Thomas Howard, high-risk OB/GYN on the medical staff at Texas Health Fort Worth, and Marcia Williams, R.N., labor and delivery nurse, both helped deliver Baby Faith many years ago and delivered her baby, Adelynn Grace, this week. Both Howard and Williams were interviewed.
