Stan Morton, president of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton, was quoted in the June 12 edition of the Denton Record-Chronicle. The Business brief discussed a grant the hospital received from the Texas Health Presbyterian Foundation. The funds were used to create a workout room for employees and physicians and to provide renovations and improvements to the emergency department triage and waiting areas.

Dr. Mark Till, chair of emergency medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed on KRLD-AM (1080). Till spoke about the health risks of a sedentary lifestyle. Several new studies suggest that lack of activity leads to increased risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancer and numerous other health problems.
