It mentioned that women lead five of Texas Health’s wholly owned hospitals, and noted that Winjie Tang Miao was named president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle at age 29 and now also leads Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance.

The story highlighted the Patriot Award that Dr. Jeffrey Canose and Dr. Julia Janich have received from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. In addition to the Patriot Awards for Canose and Janich, Texas Health Plano’s pharmacy department was honored with the Above and Beyond Award. Duane Deaver, a pharmacist at Texas Health Plano and member of the Army Reserve, nominated them for the award because of the support provided to him during his mobilizations. The story quoted Deaver and Canose.
