Hospital & Health Networks magazine and Healthcare IT News reported the announcement of Texas Health Resources as a 2011 Most Wired Innovator Award winner. Texas Health was recognized for using “Best Practice” alerts in its electronic health record to help reduce the risk of getting blood clots during hospital stays. Texas Health was also named to H&HN’s annual list of the Most Wired hospitals and health systems, making the list for the 11th time in 13 years.
