Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano was featured in a story in the Dallas Morning News’ NeighborsGoPlano and West Plano print editions. The story highlighted the Patriot Award that Dr. Jeffrey Canose and Dr. Julia Janich have received from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. In addition to the Patriot Awards for Canose and Janich, Texas Health Plano’s pharmacy department was honored with the Above and Beyond Award. Duane Deaver, a pharmacist at Texas Health Plano and member of the Army Reserve, nominated them for the award because of the support provided to him during his mobilizations. The story quoted Deaver and Canose.

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton, along with Championship Hearts Foundation, is hosting a heart screening event for children ages 14-18 who participate in athletics. The Sanger Courier featured the event in its July 14 issue.
