Texas Health Dallas, Texas Health Fort Worth on KTVT-TV

Dr. Douglas Baker, a radiologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed on KTVT-TV (Ch. 11). He talked about breast tomosynthesis, or 3D mammography. Texas Health Dallas is the first medical center in North Texas and one of the first in the country to offer the revolutionary imaging technology as a screening tool for women at higher-than-average risk for breast cancer.

Dr. Darren Tate, OB/GYN on the medical staff at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, was interviewed on KTVT-TV in a story about the rise in cervical cancer and increased number of positive pap smears doctors are seeing in women.

Texas Health Denton in Krum Star

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton, along with Championship Hearts Foundation, hosted a heart screening event on July 23 for children ages 14-18 who participate in athletics. The Krum Star featured the event on its front page.
