Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery Plano, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Rockwall were named among the 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare for 2011 in this week’s issue of Modern Healthcare.

Amy Goodson, registered dietitian at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, was interviewed by KTVT-TV (Ch. 11) last night in a story about a book to be released in October that encourages kids to go on a diet. Goodson talked about encouraging a healthy balance of exercise and diet instead of dieting in children.
