THR's Hawthorne in Dallas Business Journal
A photo of Doug Hawthorne, CEO of Texas Health Resources, and Jerry McCullough, superintendent of Arlington ISD, appears in the current edition of the Dallas Business Journal. The picture was taken last month as Mr. Hawthorne presented McCullough with an AED as part of an effort to improve rapid-response for local athletes who suffer heart attacks during sporting events. THR will donate AEDs to 51 North Texas secondary schools.
The AED donations are also being used to highlight THR's rebranding of its hospitals – Presbyterian, Harris Methodist, and Arlington Memorial – under the Texas Health name.
