Dr. Craig Crandall, a researcher at the Institute for Exercise and Environmental Medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, appeared on KDAF-TV (Ch. 33). The story highlighted Crandall’s research into how the body responds to bleeding in hot temperatures. The study could change how wounded soldiers are treated on the battlefield.
Texas Institute for Surgery Physician on Dr. Oz Show
Dr. Wesley Anne Brady, a gynecologist on the medical staff of Texas Institute for Surgery,was scheduled to appear today on The Dr. Oz Show on WFAA-TV (Ch. 8). Brady was discussing ovarian cancer. She is among a few physicians who comprise the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, which provides critical information to women about early warning signs and risk factors for ovarian cancer.
