Dr. Craig Crandall, a researcher at the Institute for Exercise and Environmental Medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was quoted in a story in Oct. 9 editions of The New York Times. The story highlighted Crandall’s research into how the body responds to bleeding in hot temperatures. The study could change how wounded soldiers are treated on the battlefield.
