Texas Health HEB on KDAF-TV, WFAA-TV

A Texas Health Hurst-Euless-Bedford patient who came in for a routine delivery and ended up in cardiac arrest was featured in a Nov. 14 news story on KDAF-TV (Ch. 33). The story shared Jennifer Sain’s journey and the benefits of the hypothermia protocol. Marie Markish, ICU clinical coordinator, was interviewed.

A Nov. 14 story on WFAA-TV (Ch. 8) featured a patient currently on permanent bed rest not long after undergoing a procedure to minimize the effects of a TRAP (Twin Reversed Arterial Perfusion) sequence pregnancy. The mom, Ashley Delgado, is currently at Texas Health Hurst-Euless-Bedford and is expected to deliver her twins in about six weeks.

Texas Health Fort Worth in Star-Telegram

The Star-Telegram mentioned that Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth was again voted highest in quality and image by Fort Worth area residents in the annual National Research Corp.'s survey and 2011-12 Consumer Choice Awards.

Texas Health Plano on Nate Berkus Show

Julia Clarke, R.N., a nurse at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, will be featured on The Nate Berkus Show on Nov. 16. The show airs on KXAS-TV (Ch. 5) at 2 p.m. We also anticipate a story will run on KXAS previewing the appearance.

Texas Health Denton in Denton Record-Chronicle

A story about Rawda Fouad, 11, a patient at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton, was featured on the front page of the Denton Record-Chronicle on Nov. 13. Dr. Bruce Hermann, a physician on the hospital’s medical staff, was quoted.
