The Dallas Business Journal featured a story about five Texas Health Resources hospitals being named Top Performing Hospitals in QUEST, a national quality improvement initiative by Premier Inc. Texas Health Arlington, Azle, Cleburne, HEB and Southwest were recognized. Dr. Mark Lester, interim chief quality officer for Texas Health Resources, was quoted.

The Dallas Business Journal reported that Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital President Stan Morton and Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth President Brett McClung have been named to the 2012 Board of Trustees of the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council. Morton is the board’s past chair and McClung is a trustee.

Dr. Christopher Blewett, a pulmonologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, was interviewed on KDAF-TV (Ch. 33) about a so-called safer cigarette researchers have claimed to have created. The story also was featured on the station’s website.
