Dr. David Smith, medical director of trauma-care services at Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital, was interviewed live on NBC's Today show with Matt Lauer this morning.
Smith was interviewed alongside Truman Duncan, a patient who credits him with saving his life after he was run over by a train two years ago in Cleburne.
