PHD Featured in KRLD-AM Breast Cancer Series 10/01/2008
Dr. Katherine Hall, a radiologist at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and medical director of breast imaging at the Women’s Diagnostic and Breast Center at PHD, was interviewed on KRLD-AM (1080) for an Oct. 1 story about tomosynthesis, a new imaging technology that uses digital mammography to generate high-resolution 3-D images of the breast.
PHD is one of the first hospitals in the region to have the technology, which is part of a study to determine its effectiveness against breast MRI. The 3-D mammography story is part of a three-part breast cancer series this week on KRLD, featuring PHD experts.
