Jo Ann Talbot, Kaufman’s city secretary, has been named chairperson of the 2012 Black Tie Ball benefitting Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman. The fifth annual fundraiser helps support the hospital’s non-profit work to provide prenatal care for low-income, uninsured women in the Kaufman community. An announcement about Talbot’s role with this year’s gala was in a recent edition of the Kaufman Herald.

Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital was featured in May 14 editions of the Star-Telegram. Texas Health Arlington Memorial President Kirk King was quoted in an article about the hospital donating an automated external defibrillator to the Arlington Life Shelter.
