Texas Health Dallas on WFAA-TV

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas was featured on WFAA-TV (Ch. 8). The “Dallas after dark” program chronicled the stories of four newborns being cared for in the hospital’s Level III NICU.

Dr. Gary Weinstein, a pulmonologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Dallas, was quoted in a May 17 story on WFAA. Weinstein spoke about asthma rates in the United States and a new procedure that could offer some patients a long-term solution. Texas Health Dallas was the first hospital in North Texas to begin offering the procedure, called bronchial thermoplasty.

Texas Health Cleburne in Cleburne Times-Review

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne was featured in the May 16 edition of the Cleburne Times-Review. Kelly Curlee, R.N., director of Women’s and Infant Services, along with Toni Pinyan, R.N., were quoted in a special Mother’s Day article in which a patient described why her experience at Texas Health Cleburne was memorable.

Texas Health Plano on featured an item about Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano’s two Great 100 Nurse honorees, Linda Allison, R.N., M.S., a clinical education specialist, and John Marchand, R.N., B.S.N., J.D., CPAN, a PACU charge nurse. Doug Hawthorne, CEO, Dr. Jeffrey Canose, FACHE, hospital president, and Ray Kelly, R.N., M.S.N., the hospital’s chief nursing officer, were quoted.

Texas Health Fort Worth in Cleburne Times-Review

An article in the Cleburne Times-Review about ways to manage asthma quoted Tyshaun Woodruff, respiratory therapist at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.
