Texas Health Dallas on KTVT-TV

Dr. Jorge Cheirif, chief of cardiology at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas and a physician on the hospital’s medical staff, appeared June 26 on KTVT-TV (Ch. 11). Cheirif talked about Highland Park mom Marla Sewall, 42, who suffered a heart attack and drowned in her bathtub. Her husband administered CPR, and she was rushed to the Texas Health Dallas ICU. She eventually awoke from her coma and today suffers no side effects.

Texas Institute for Surgery on KDAF-TV

Dr. Robert Scheinberg, orthopedic surgeon on the medical staff of Texas Institute for Surgery, was interviewed for a June 21 story on KDAF-TV (Ch. 33). The story featured his use of surgical technology that enables streaming real-time surgeries that can be recorded or viewed live.
