Texas Health Branding|
I’m Doug Hawthorne, CEO of Texas Health Resources, with “The Business of Health Care Report.”
The New Year is always a time of hope for a bright future. It’s a time of renewal and change. As we embark on our journey through 2009, I want to share with you some changes at our hospitals.
For more than 11 years now, Arlington Memorial, Harris Methodist, and Presbyterian hospitals have all been part of the non-profit, faith-based Texas Health Resources system.
As part of our continuing strategy to transform the delivery of healthcare in North Texas, we’re changing the names of our hospitals. However, this is much more than just a name change. It’s symbolic of how we’re transforming our entire system to continue to improve the delivery of health care. It’s part of a larger effort to unify our communications to reflect the depth and breadth of our capabilities across North Texas.
You may already have seen the new name on the hospital serving your community — Texas Health Presbyterian, Texas Health Harris Methodist or Texas Health Arlington Memorial.
Rest assured, the hospitals you’ve known and trusted for decades will continue to be your partner in health care. We are the same non-profit community-based health care system, with the same great people dedicated to faith-based values. We’re striving to continuously improve and grow to meet the needs of the people we serve.
For Texas Health Resources and its faith based family of hospitals, Texas Health Presbyterian, Texas Health Harris Methodist, and Texas Health Arlington Memorial, I’m Doug Hawthorne.
