Adding Services to Benefit You It’s coming — Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle’s new 5,000-square-foot Health and Education Center — and it’s bringing new services to patients in the community.
“During the past year, Texas Health Azle has strived to expand our services to offer many of the same procedures, technology and care you would receive at one of the larger hospitals in Fort Worth,” says Winjie Tang Miao, president of Texas Health Azle. “Our efforts have provided Northwest Tarrant and Parker county residents with nationally recognized health care options close to home while attracting new physicians and specialists to the area.”
The Health and Education Center will provide a variety of new outpatient services as well as support groups for caregivers, cancer patients and those with diabetes. The new facility will also expand current services including cardiac and vascular screenings and childbirth education classes.
The project includes 70 additional parking spaces, making the hospital more accessible to the community. The hospital’s Auxiliary will also fund a new meditation garden for patients, families and employees to enjoy.
“We are committed to investing in the Azle community and growing our scope of services,” says Miao. “In 2008, we added several new services, including pain management, digital mammography, pulmonology and Lamaze® classes. With the addition of our Health and Education Center, we will have the opportunity to grow our scope of services further.”
