Expanding the Scope of Care in CleburneTexas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne strives to bring patients the latest in advanced health care technology. That’s why we’re proud to announce the expansion of our surgery units.
The new surgery units, expected to open in 2011, will add 2,500 square feet and two additional rooms to the existing three operating rooms.
With an updated, modern look and additional capacity for surgical care, Texas Health Cleburne will be better equipped to provide comprehensive care.
“This $7.9 million surgery expansion enables Texas Health Cleburne to serve the growing community and update the operating rooms with the latest technologies,” says Blake Kretz, F.A.C.H.E., president of Texas Health Cleburne. “These additional units allow the hospital to meet all the demands of advanced surgeries. As construction continues, a larger space will accommodate more specialists so services can grow with the community.”
With these renovations, Texas Health Cleburne will be the only facility in the area to have private pre- and post-operative care units. This is only one part of an improved patient journey. With additional capacity, nurses and staff can improve patient flow through the department, from the moment patients walk through the doors until they are discharged from the hospital.
“We continue to strive to better the health and wellness of the community with this project,” says Kretz. “Physicians at Texas Health Cleburne will be better equipped to provide the most advanced care.”
