Breaking Ground for Better HealthTexas Health Resources will be breaking ground on Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance — Texas Health’s newest full-service hospital scheduled to be completed in 2012.
As one of the fastest growing communities in North Texas, north Tarrant County is currently not equipped to meet the health care needs of this expanding community.
“Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance will allow us the opportunity to accommodate patients throughout
Tarrant and surrounding counties,” says Winjie Tang Miao, president of Texas Health Azle. “Texas Health has had a presence in Tarrant County since two physician office buildings were opened in 2006, and we are excited about expanding these services.”
The new hospital will be situated on 40 acres of land located near the intersection of Interstate 35 and Golden Triangle Boulevard.
The full-service hospital will include a 24-hour emergency room, outpatient services, advanced imaging services, surgical services, physician offices and acute-care inpatient beds.
“As the health care industry begins to change, we are rethinking how we deliver care,” says Miao. “Our goal is simple: to provide the services our patients need in the most costeffective and convenient way.”
