Now Open: A New Level of Care

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle is furthering its commitment to providing the best in care with the recent opening of the new Health and Education Center.

During the past year, Texas Health Azle has strived to expand services to offer many of the same procedures, technology and care offered at larger hospitals in Fort Worth. Renovations now provide northwest Tarrant and Parker County residents with the health care options they need close to home.

The Health and Education Center boasts classrooms and state-of-the-art presentation technology for health education classes, support groups and staff training. In addition, a meditation garden has been created for patients, families and employees to enjoy quiet reflection. To accommodate the changes, 70 additional parking spaces have been created.

The new outpatient facility provides several new lines of service, including:

• Digital mammography

• Lamaze classes

• Pain management

• Psychiatry

• Pulmonology

“During the last two years, we have added new service lines to our campus so that our patients no longer have to drive to Fort Worth for the care they need,” says Winjie Tang Miao, president of Texas Health Azle. “The new Texas Health Azle outpatient facility and education center is a continuation of those service lines. We are excited to have this new space and further extend the care we are able to provide to the community.”
