Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital Vice President Announces Retirement

ARLINGTON, Texas — Bradford Davis, M.D., M.T.S., vice president and chief quality officer at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, announced plans to retire from his position in September. As chief quality officer, Davis has led the hospital’s efforts in continuous quality improvement. Under his leadership, Texas Health Arlington Memorial implemented a hospitalist program, achieved Primary Stroke Center certification, earned Baby-Friendly designation, and became the first Cycle III Chest Pain Center in Texas and the first-ever Acute Heart Failure Center. The hospital also earned a national award, the Richard L. Doyle Award for Innovation and Leadership in Healthcare, for daily multidisciplinary “huddles” that increased coordination of care and decreased the patient’s average length of stay in the hospital.

Davis earned his medical degree from Baylor University College of Medicine in Houston and earned a master of theological studies degree from Brite Divinity School of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.

He looks forward to reading, gardening, traveling and enjoying time with his wife, Janice, and their family.
