Dr. Bohn Allen Named New Chairman of Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees|
ARLINGTON, Texas — The Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees recently appointed Bohn Allen, M.D., as its new chairman. Former chairman Wendell Nedderman, Ph.D., has retired from the board after 44 years of service. Reverend Michael Glaspie, who joined the board in 2006, will serve as vice chairman.

“It has been a truly unique and thrilling experience to have had a small part in the development of Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital from what it was in 1966 to the great hospital that it is today,” Nedderman said.
Allen, former vice chairman and board member since 1996, is a retired surgeon who served on the hospital’s medical staff for 32 years. He is a member of Texas Health Resources Board of Trustees, president-elect of Texas Surgical Society and chair of the Performance and Excellence Committee for Texas Medical Association. He also served as president of the Texas Medical Association from 2004-05.
“It is an honor and a privilege to be able to represent the community, the hospital, our patients and the physicians by serving on the Board of Trustees of Texas Health Arlington Memorial, and I am particularly honored to serve as its chair,” Allen said. “It is a duty I will embrace with enthusiasm, humility and hard work.”
