Texas Health Stephenville Gathers Community for Heart Health Day 02/09/2010

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — On Feb. 5, the community gathered at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville to raise awareness of women’s heart health and the risk factors to be aware of.
Dr. Poongodhai Ramachandran, a physician on the medical staff at Texas Health Stephenville, spoke during the morning event. Prayr Giebler, a cardio tech in Ramachandran’s office, and Ilda Martinez, RN, director of medical/surgical services, also were on hand to answer questions.
Individuals also were able to get screened to determine their risk factors for heart disease.
