Linen Manager at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth Receives National Leadership Recognition

FORT WORTH, Texas — Eva Granado, manager of linen distribution at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, was recently awarded the 2011 National Heywood Wiley Manager of the Year by the Association for Linen Management (ALM). The Heywood M. Wiley award recognizes individuals who exemplify the leadership and traits of an ideal manager.

She was nominated by her local ALM chapter and advanced to the national recognition based on votes by the organization’s members. In her job, Granado was also recognized for her leadership in generating more than $100,000 in cost savings for the hospital.

Granado has been an employee of Texas Health Fort Worth for more than 10 years. She is known by her peers for her strong leadership skills and extraordinary relationships with key personnel throughout the hospital.
