ALLEN, Texas — The first baby born in 2014 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen is a bouncing baby boy.
Jackson Thomas Gunter was born to Jeff and Shanda Gunter at 11:34 a.m.
Jackson Thomas Gunter was born to Jeff and Shanda Gunter at 11:34 a.m., a few weeks shy of his Jan. 26 due date. He weighed in at 6 pounds, 4 ounces and measures 18 inches long. This is the first child for the couple, who live in Allen.
“We were not planning to have a New Year’s Day baby,” Jeff Gunter said. “But, we are so thankful that he is here and that he is healthy.”
