Texas Health Plano Financial Officer Named to Fellow Status in American College of Health Care Executives|
PLANO, Texas — Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano Financial Officer Brian Craft has been named to Fellow status in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), a professional society of more than 35,000 health care executives.

“We are proud of Brian for achieving this milestone in his career,” said Ron Long, chief financial officer and executive vice president for Texas Health Resources, Texas Health Plano’s parent organization. “Earning Fellow status shows his commitment to the profession and the community.”
According to the organization, to obtain Fellow status, candidates must fulfill multiple requirements, including passing an examination, completing at least 40 hours of continuing education, serving at least five years in health care management, and being active in the local civic and health care communities. Fellows must be recertified every three years.
Craft serves as group financial officer, overseeing Texas Health Plano and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen. He joined Texas Health as vice president of finance in June 2011.
He holds a master's degree in health care administration from Trinity University in San Antonio and a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of North Texas in Denton. Craft also served as treasurer of the Texas Chapter of the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management from 2004-07. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and is also a certified project management professional.
He lives in Midlothian with his wife and two sons.
