Texas Health Plano Announces New Nurse Navigator Program|
PLANO, Texas — Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano announces the newest approach to integrate health and well-being, the Women’s Health Connection Nurse Navigator program. The Nurse Navigator will make it easier for busy women to take care of themselves by addressing issues affecting the whole woman – mind, body and spirit.

“In my role as Women’s Health Connection Nurse Navigator, I bring together all the aspects of care that is important to today’s woman,” said Suzan Betts, R.N., B.S.N., CBPN-IC, Nurse Navigator at Texas Health Plano. “With busy lives and families to care for, taking care of ourselves tends to be at the bottom of the list, and I am here to help women overcome personal barriers to treatment, provide education and guidance through their healthcare.”
Women’s Health Connection Nurse Navigator can help patients:
- Identify personal risk factors for cancer, diabetes, heart disease and other age-related illnesses.
- Learn positive steps to lower your risk of chronic disease.
- Develop a personalized health and lifestyle plan.
- Stay motivated to reach goals.
