Texas Health Plano Kicks Off Free Lecture Series|
PLANO, Texas — Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano is kicking off the 2014 Advances in Medicine lecture series by encouraging men and women to “Put Back Pain Behind You.” Chronic neck and back pain can be debilitating, which means there is no time like the present to explore treatment options.
Rob Dickerman, M.D.
Advances in Medicine is a free educational lecture series presented by local health professionals, designed to provide consumers with the latest medical information in a particular area of focus.
Join Rob Dickerman, M.D., neurosurgeon on the medical staff at Texas Health Plano, at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4 as he discuss both surgical and non-surgical procedures available for the treatment of chronic neck and back pain.
“Back pain, unfortunately, is something almost everyone will deal with at some point during their life,” Dickerman said. “I think many people suffering from chronic back or neck pain are under the impression that surgery is the only treatment option available, which deters them from seeing a doctor. In reality, there are a countless number of surgical as well as non-surgical treatments for this type of pain. You have to find what works best for you.”
Advances in Medicine lectures are held at Texas Health Plano in the Bluebonnet Room, located in Medical Office Building 2. The event is free and includes a complimentary light dinner, but registration is required.
