Physical Therapy

The physical therapy department at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton provides comprehensive services for patients of all ages. Physical therapists work to help patients achieve optimum functioning, prevent disabilities and further dysfunction, maintain health, and identify potential safety risks.

Physical therapists function as important health care providers and serve as patient advocates. Licensed physical therapists, assistants and techs serve as educators to patients, families, and staff.

Services provided include:

  • Recovery from orthopedic and neuromuscular problems, arthritis and burns
  • Physical problems associated with diabetes and cancer
  • Injuries resulting from recreational and sports activities

Outpatient physical therapy occupies a 3,000-square-foot area on the first floor of The Center for Women, with convenient parking for patients with direct access at the west entrance.

Inpatient physical therapy is on the second floor of the main hospital building.
