Pat Fulgham, M.D., urologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Dallas talks about the importance of prostate cancer screening for men.

Regular checkups with your physician are also an important part of maintaining your overall health. In many cases cancers are detected as a result of noting changes in your blood work over time, so keeping a regular appointment with your physician is a great method of early detection.

Recommended Screenings
The following cancer screening guidelines are recommended by the American Cancer Society for people at average risk for cancer and without any specific symptoms.

People who are at increased risk for certain cancers may need to follow a different screening schedule, such as starting at an earlier age or being screened more often. Those with symptoms that could be related to cancer should see their doctor right away.

The info below would be cool as a drop down list where people could select their age range and then get their recommended screenings.
