Brett McClung
|
Brett McClung, FACHE, began serving as president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth in May 2007. Prior to joining Texas Health Southwest Fort Worth, he was the president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle.
McClung joined Texas Health Azle in May 2005 after serving as vice president for ambulatory, support services and business development at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth. He has been associated with Harris Methodist hospitals and Texas Health Resources since 1993 in various roles, including operations analyst, network manager and director of business development.
Before joining Texas Health Fort Worth, McClung worked as a consultant with Arthur Andersen Consulting. He earned his bachelor of arts in business from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and his master of science in healthcare administration from Trinity University in San Antonio. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
McClung is a past-chairman for the Fort Worth South Area Council Chamber of Commerce and a past-chairman for the North Texas Volunteer Center, Tarrant County Division. He served on several boards including the Trinity University Healthcare Alumni Association, Tech Fort Worth, March of Dimes-Tarrant County, First United Methodist Church Fort Worth pre-school, Global 2010 and the Kids Who Care Musical Theatre Organization.
In addition to his service to the community, McClung's honors include the Early Careerist Healthcare Executive Award from ACHE, the International Leadership Fellow from the German Marshall Fund of the United States and 40 Business Leaders under 40 from the Fort Worth Business Press. He was recently named the 2006 Dallas Fort Worth Hospital Council (DFWHC) Young Executive of the Year.
