Enedina Alcantara, M.D. Alcantara received her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. She completed her internal medicine residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago in 2001. Before relocating to Texas, Alcantara worked as an internist for Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. She spent four years as an attending physician at Lincoln Park Hospital, Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago and also served as a Primary Care Physician with FACA Medical Specialties. Alcantara is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
Vasantha Battini, M.D. Battini received her medical degree from Siddhartha Medical College in Vijayawada, India. She completed her internal medicine residency at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, Mich.
Ernesto A. Cadorna, M.D. Cadorna received his medical degree from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center College of Medicine in the Philippines. He completed his internal medicine residency at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio, in 1995. He spent eight years in primary care in Kansas and previously worked at a hospital practice in the Philippines. Anuneet Kaur Haas, M.D. Haas studied chemistry at Arizona State University before receiving her medical degree at Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center in St. Louis, Mo. She completed her post graduate medical education at Cedars Sinai Health Center in Los Angeles, Calif. She has taken part in many volunteer opportunities, including spending two years on a child abuse prevention task force. Haas is a member of the American Medical Association.
Corbin Q. Hunt, M.D. Hunt received his medical degree from the Texas Tech University School of Medicine in 2000. Sajeela Malik, M.D. Malik received her medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, N.J. For three years, Malik provided occupational medicine and ambulatory care services to patients in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Steven L. Smith, M.D., F.A.C.P. Smith received his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in 1989 and completed his residency in internal medicine at Texas A&M College School of Medicine in 1992. He was involved in the Faculty Development Training Program in general internal medicine at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and was assistant professor in internal medicine at Texas Tech University Health Science Center from 2001 to 2003.
