Community Health Advocates can use the Hand Hygiene toolkit and support materials as resources to help educate schools, businesses, places of worship and other community groups with regard to proper hand-washing, and ultimately halt further transmission of MRSA, seasonal flu and H1N1 (swine flu). We recommend downloading and reviewing the Hand Hygiene toolkit and the following documents:
- Communications
The communications overview was created to help Texas Health advocates address hand hygiene in their communities. The toolkit and program materials will be a resource for hospitals, entity champions, schools, places of worship and businesses in our community.
- Measurements/Outcomes
The measurements and outcomes section of the training was designed specifically for Texas Health's advocates, however can be used by other advocates if desired. All surveys, batch report forms and system reporting forms are customized for use by Texas Health but can be updated to reflect your own organizational structure.
