Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth, a 229-bed facility located near Mira Vista and four college preparatory private schools, opened its doors in 1987 to give Southwest Tarrant County access to a finer grade of health care close to home.

The hospital offers comprehensive acute-care services, 24-hour emergency services, advanced technology, a progressive rehabilitation program, surgical services and traditional and progressive options in maternity care. 

Texas Health Southwest Fort Worth continually ranks among the area's preferred facilities to deliver babies, according to Fort Worth Child magazine.
