Siratt Women's Center at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless Bedford

Physicians on the medical staff of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford have delivered thousands of new babies. The physicians and nurses who assist you in the Siratt Women's Center are as experienced as they are caring. Plus, Texas Health HEB is Baby Friendly and has the only hospital-based breastfeeding support center in Northeast Tarrant County.

No wonder so many moms choose to have their babies here. Texas Health HEB also offers classes to help the whole family feel like part of the birth experience.

It takes a lot of planning to get ready for your baby. It also took a lot of planning to develop the Siratt Women's Center. Before opening the birthing suites, birth facilities all over the country were researched to learn just what types of spaces, technology, equipment and experiences expectant couples and newborns need for a happy birth.

The birthing room concept allows you to labor and give birth in the same room. You'll find our birthing suites spacious and attractive. Each suite is designed to allow for your privacy and the comfort of the newborn and family.

Although each suite is beautifully decorated with the feel of a private home, each is also equipped with the technology to provide an enhanced environment in which to give birth.

The Siratt Women's Center is not just for moms. Mothers can give birth at Texas Health HEB and be assured that their infant will receive the best quality of care in the newborn nursery or the neonatal intensive care at the Siratt Women's Center.

Beginning Sept. 1, 2011, access to the Labor and Delivery Unit, Mother/Baby Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) will be restricted to those with a Texas Health HEB identification badge. If you are a visitor, please use the courtesy phone, located outside each of the unit doors, to contact the nurse's station for access. You will be asked to give the patient's name before access is granted. Thank you for your support in providing a safe and secure environment for our new parents.
